He is a bit more awake now in the morning and especially in the evening, when he doesn't seem to sleep at all between feedings. He doesn't communicate a lot yet aside from indicating when he's hungry, when he's cold, and when there is too much light. Even though they aren't really conveying any particular message, it's neat to watch him go through his wide range of facial expressions, and I wanted to share this pleasure with you (click on the image to see it all).

This is really cool! You could make a little mini movie with them all even...or a flip book.
That was actually my second idea (the first was to take plenty of pictures to get a few good ones). Then I realized that this could make a nice picture all by itself.
I love this! How did you do it? How long did it take? My favorites are the one with his tongue out (4th row, 2nd to last column) and the one where he gives you a "hummph - fine!" look when he decides to stop crying and maybe take a nap (last row, 3rd column).
The pictures were taken over a bit more than 12 minutes. Then, it was a matter of importing the pictures into Picasa and making a collage.
